Orcival – French Maritime Craft Since 1939.

Orcival was founded in Paris in 1939 – inspired by the town of the same name in the Auvergne region. Shortly afterwards, during the war, the brand moved its production to Lyon, where it still manufactures today: 100% in France, from the woven fabric to the final finish.

Orcival is famous for the Marinière, the classic striped sailor shirt in the Breton style. Originally designed for the French Navy, it now represents timeless, maritime elegance and lasting quality. Orcival consciously produces with care: meticulously and far removed from mass production. Each piece is made to be worn for a long time.
