Jean Dessel represents Italian craftsmanship, French inspiration – and a timeless fascination with leather. In 1969, Orlando discovered his passion for saddlery in the Camargue and opened his first workshop in Bergamo.

After a hiatus in the 1990s, his son Filippo revived the brand 15 years later – inspired by a trip to Australia. He combined his father's tradition with a modern approach. To this day, the world of saddlery shapes every detail: robust, vegetable-tanned leather, hand-dyed, and unique in character. Belts, bags, accessories, and small leather goods are created as one-of-a-kind pieces – finished with solid brass and crafted from sustainably produced, certified leathers.
