For 2014 Croots will introduce a small range of bags and leathergoods made in Horween’s iconic Chromexcel leather.

Chromexcel is the original pull-up leather; using time honored techniques and formulas that were developed nearly 100 years ago. Chromexcel is still produced in the United States using a bark retannage from a proprietary recipe, and then genuine hot stuffed with our secret blend of natural oils and greases.

Chromexcel is characterized by a rich pull-up in full aniline, hand rubbed finishes. Made to this day with old world craftsmanship, modern Chromexcel carries on a long history of superior comfort and durability.

The range includes a duffle bag in the right size for your weekend travels or the visit to the gym, a Tote bag as your ideal everyday carry companion or shopping aid, a shoulder bag and a small range of handy and practical smaller items such as an Ipad and Ipad mini case, an Iphone case, a sunglass case, a credit card or business card holder, luggage tag and a key chain. CROOTS – England is a manufacturer of traditionally-made hand-crafted sporting accessories and high quality sporting luggage. The company was founded by John Smith and his wife Margaret in the 1970s. The Croots Factory is located in Malton, North Yorkshire. Croots uses only natural, vegetable tanned hides of european origin, heavy duty solid brass buckles and fittings, swiss made quality zippers and natural sewing threads. Recently Croots introduced a new range of bags, luggage and accessories made fully out of natural, high quality vegetable tanned leathers and using only solid brass buckles and fittings, quality swiss-made zips and natural sewing threads. Produced by skilled and experienced dedicated craftsmen (and women) in Malton, North Yorkshire. Croots pride themselves in combining the best of English workmanship with the finest of traditionally made materials to produce objects of timeless beauty.
