THE TELLASON FUZZ BELT

We have partnered with Lukas of @lukes_custom_belts and offer you a very special belt as a “Special Edition”: The TELLASON Fuzz Belt. Exclusively available online at Tellason Germany.

Based on the belts of the US Police and Highway Patrol.
The leather is a traditional, pure vegetable tanned saddle leather made by Herman Oaks Tannery of St. Louis, USA. The raw material is exclusively steer hides. Buckle is solid brass, made in England; the thread a so-called „Tiger Thread“, made in Germany.

Lukas makes “The Tellason Fuzz Belt“ completely by hand. He starts with shaving the leather substance from 7 to 4 mm with a vintage splitting machine. Then he punches the traditional „basket weave“ pattern with hammer and a special tool into the leather. Then the Tellason wording is cut in with a swivel knife. The natural colored leather is then dyed and oiled by hand with classic saddlery dyes. The edges are polished with beeswax. The material and special treatment offer a good potential to develop genuine patina.

Width of the belt: approx. 1,7 inch | ca. 4,5 cm. The belt can be ordered in inch sizes 30 – 40 inch – choose the belt size. Limited to 50 pieces. All belts will be numbered. Delivery time: approx. 8 weeks.
