MAKR x Deus ex Machina: nice coop

our friends from MAKR Carry Goods in Florida designed and produced this nice little gadget for the US branch of the austrailian brand Deus ex Machina in a limited run. Sold out already. A second run is on the way. Made from waxed canvas and Horween’s horsefront leather this little tool rool offers enough space to hold your wrenches, screwdrivers, or your pocket knife or pipe collection, or paint brushes, scalpels, etc.

the following video gives you a nice insight in the MAKR Studio showing Jason Gregory and his team. At 03:26 you can see the cutting by laser. Video courtesy grainandgram.

Wurstoutlet

we had the pleasure to use Uwe van Afferden‘s unique store together with Dirk from Merz B. Schwanen as our temporary showroom in Duesseldorf last weekend. The mix of interior design, furniture, clothing, shoes and leather goods mixed with re-cycled and modified objects in a true eclectic atmosphere is one of a kind. Style, taste, art, design, sustainability, irony: you can find it all there. Make your visit to the Wurstoutlet soon. Many thanks for all the hospitality to Uwe and his whole team. We will be back.

And finally we must confess that we always had a crush on girls that wear men-size tool watches especially if it is a rocked-down golden Rolex Date-date combined with ecru-coloured double monks. Ella, go girl!
